Assignment: Create fleet graphics for a van to tour the United States.

McGolf Ltd. wanted high-impact graphics on a new touring van for Billy McGolf, Golf's Official Mascot. According to McGolf Ltd., the sportsmanship associated with the game of golf offers lessons for a lifetime of achievement and personal fulfillment. With Billy McGolf as their guide,children can embrace golf with laughter and enjoyment, as well as learn to respect the game's time honored traditions. The McGolf slogan is, "It's fun...to play by the rules." The goal of this project was to create a moving billboard that would generate public interest and establish a presence at golf tournaments, charity
events, and while traveling the roads of the United States.

So, McGolf turned to DGI Inc. in Boston. DGI-Invisuals delivers large-format digital printing and photo imaging solutions for retail stores, trade shows, exhibits, and events. The company offers experience in project management and the construction of banner systems, retail murals, posters, custom wall and floor coverings, outdoor and illuminated signs, fleet graphics, and exhibits.

DGI took the project and ran with it. The graphics were output from the Digital Screen Press Arizona printer onto a 3M marking film, which is warranted for three years. A 3-mil overlaminate provided added protection and allows the van to endure regular washing without harm to the graphics. DGI-Invisuals also provided the installation services to guarantee a perfect finish.
